DODD, Douglas A., of Tampa, Fla., passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013. He was born in Barbours, Pa., on September 5, 1935, to Clarence N. Scaife, Sr. and Neola Grove Scaife Ireland. He graduated from Williamsport High School and served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed playing darts where he won many trophies, reading western books, crossword puzzles, writing poems, NASCAR and having breakfast with his friends. Surviving are a daughter, Deb Bartlett (Gene) and sons, Rick (Christy), Jim (Rhonda) and Scott. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Kelly, Tim, Rily, AJ, Jeremy, Tyler, Amber, Robert and Michael and great-grandsons, Mason and Jacob. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Patricia. He was predeceased in death by his parents and brothers, Wayne and Peter. His ashes will be scattered on the Scaife farm in Barbours that he loved.
