Donald "Don" Stephen Angerer, 76, of Brandon, FL, passed with his family by his side on Thursday, December 26 2024. Born in Queens, NY on November 18 1948, to Waldemar & Eleanore (McFadden) Angerer. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Alice Angerer (Pritchard), son, Erik (Alanna) Angerer and daughter, Karli (Ryan) Angerer, and two grandchildren who were his little treasures, Olivia and Cannon Angerer. Don is also survived by his brother, Ronald (Sherry) Angerer and brother-in-laws Kirk & Vincent Pritchard, his cousin, Bob Mundinger and the other McFadden cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Don served 4 years in the Navy, serving in Vietnam, and was very proud to be a veteran. He loved his family and was a very proud papa & we will all miss him dearly.
In his down time Don enjoyed floating in his pool listening to his favorite songs just enjoying the sunshine. He became a true Floridian 30 years ago when we moved from New York. Don also had season tickets to the Bucs games and enjoyed going to the games with his children.
We will celebrate his life on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Southern Funeral Care at 12:00 PM, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. There will also be a funeral mass at Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 10:30 AM, with inurnment following the mass at Sarasota National Cemetery @ 1:30 PM with Navy Honors.
