Donald Richard Falkenburg, Jr. “Ricky”, 58, of Lithia, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, peacefully in his home surrounded by those he loved the most. He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha Falkenburg; mother, Jeanette Falkenburg; sister, Sherri Falkenburg and nieces, Manessah Nieves and Brandy Walker, who was like a daughter to him. Born and raised in Brandon, Florida and graduating from Brandon High School in 1982, he opened his first paint and body shop in Seffner. After 40 years of painting he closed shop to care for his dad through his Alzheimer’s journey. Ricky loved to be outside fishing or working in the yard. He was the kind of man who would do anything for friends or family. If it was broken, he would fix it. Lost, he would help find it. Stuck, he would tow it. Join us in celebrating Ricky’s life 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 21, 2023, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Limona Cemetery, Brandon. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the ALS Association or to LifePath Hospice.
