Donald L. "Don" Reese, Sr.
REESE, Sr., Donald L. "Don", 77, of Tampa, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. A native of Bridgeport, WV, he had resided here since 1969 coming from Groton, CT. He had been a maintenance supervisor for the Tampa Port Authority for 20 years and veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Doris; 3 sons, Donald l. Reese, Jr., Riverview, David and Danny Reese, both of Tampa; 2 daughters, Debbie Cockerham, Groveland, NY and Patty Hines, Brandon; sister, Kathleen Linder, Lacrosse, WI; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 28, 2009, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview. Interment with full military honors will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
