Obituary for Donald Gerard Schreck
Donald Gerard Schreck, 81, of Brandon, FL, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. A native of Buffalo, NY, he had resided here since 1976. He was an over the road trucker, a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Seffner, FL; Life Member of Brandon Elks Lodge #2383 and was the current 2019-2020 Exalted Ruler. Preceded in death by his daughter, Jamie Schreck, he is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; sons, Donald W. Schreck and Joseph G. Schreck; daughters, Rae Ann Boutwell, Kay Schreck and Michelle Ashmeade; sister, Barbara Rhodes; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. If the social gathering ban is lifted, a Celebration of Life Service has been scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 6, 2020, at the Brandon Elks Lodge #2383. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Florida State Elks Major Projects.
