Obituary for Dian Gertrude Valentino
Dian Gertrude Valentino, 78, of Brandon, died January 23rd, 2021 peacefully in her home. She was born on January 14, 1943. Her beloved dog, Yougie, was also put to rest on the same day after a long illness. Mrs. Valentino was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Valentino, on August 17, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elsie Schneider of Pennsylvania. She is survived by her three children, Robert Valentino and his wife Kimberly Valentino of Seffner, Christopher Valentino and his wife Christin Selmon of Valrico, and Patricia Karch and her husband Gregory Karch of Brandon, and her brother, Ernest Cloud of Delaware, and her sister, Dottie Bozzone of Connecticut. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Justin Brown, Shanna Brown, Alexis Valentino, Nikolas Valentino, Camdyn Karch, Malia Valentino, Leah Selmon, and Colin Karch. In addition, she is survived by eight great grandchildren. Dian retired from the Valrico Walmart two years ago, where she was a dedicated employee for over 20 years. She loved her animals, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
