Obituary for Delorise Heath
Delorise Heath, 97, of Brandon, FL, departed this world for her eternal, heavenly life on Monday, August 1, 2022. Born in Burgaw, N.C. to Howard and Nina Hewitt (deceased). Delorise is preceded in death by her devoted husband, William E Heath, Sr. and her sisters Margaret, Evelyn, Mary, Rebecca, and brothers Allen and David.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Blake) Tyler and Silvia (Mike) McKinney, son, William "Bill" Heath; sister, Nancy (John) Zawodny; grandchildren, Ricky (Kimber) Edwards, Travis (Vera) Edwards, Chad Tyler and Chas (Janice) Tyler, and great-grandchildren Will, Allie, Mason, Jasmine, Cody and Sydney. Her children and her grandchildren were her heartbeat. She is also survived by nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and beloved sister-in-law, Sandra.
Delorise was loved by her giving and caring nature and never met a stranger. She shared with others her love for Christ and her church, First Baptist Church of Brandon, Florida.
She loved crafts including making cards, sewing and cooking. She was known as “the card lady” at Tessera Assisted Living where she lived for the past three years.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 5, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Brandon, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. A private interment will be at Hopewell Memorial Gardens.
Her grandsons will serve as pall bearers and her longtime friends, Jim Willey and Bill Marsh will serve as honorary pall bearers.
There will be a reception immediately following the service at
New Hope United Methodist Church. 213 N Knights Ave, Brandon, FL 33510
