DeVonna Ann Bahta-Teclehaimanot, of New Port Richey Florida, passed away December 15th 2022 at the age of 78, after battles with brain and lung cancer.
DeVonna was born on May 6th 1944 to Laura and George Bell in Chicago Illinois. She received her nursing license on Dec 12th 1977 and began a long fulfilling career in nursing. After retiring from nursing, DeVonna went on to complete her Bachelors of Arts at University of Toledo, a long time goal for her she accomplished with ease. DeVonna was very active in the ministries surrounding her Christian faith as a child of Christ. She was also very passionate about writing, and a published poet.
She is survived by her loving family, sister Betty Renfroe, children Stacy Lorraine Fifer and Nathaniel Vincent Bahta, as well as 4 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and endless friends.
