David W. Sampson 62, had his siblings holding his hands as he peacefully entered his heavenly home on September 8th, 2025. He was born on August 31st in St Petersburg, Florida and graduated from Brandon High School Class of 1982.
David is predeceased by his Father, Hugh Sampson and survived by his Mother, Virginia Sampson along with his immediate family Neal, Julie, Ray, Beth, Sarah, Josie, Branden and the extended Sampson and Thomasson families.
David served in the Army and then enjoyed a variety of work roles he held up until he retired at an early age to focus on his health. David was kind and generous, he loved people, animals and the great outdoors. David grew in his faith at the Lake City Reformed Christian Church and enjoyed the deep, rich friendships developed in Christ. He was also surrounded with love, for decades, by his friendships from his childhood at First Baptist Church of Brandon.
While his roots were in Florida he loved his life in Michigan finding the weather, the people (especially his neighbors!) and all the outdoor adventures soul inspiring.
David will be laid to rest in Florida.
