David Lee Allen, 62, of Brandon Florida, passed peacefully on Wednesday April 5th surrounded by family and loved ones.
David was known in life for his passion in his profession of plumbing. He started his company West Coast Plumbing Services Inc. in 2008 and has been President/Owner ever since. His work ethic, attention to detail, and how he always treated his employees like family has led to a successful business for 15 years.
David also had a passion for the culinary world. He was always inventing new recipes and cooking for his friends and family. His favorite tv channel was the Food Network and whenever you’d visit there was a meal cooking in the kitchen. He always said if he didn’t go into plumbing, he would have been a chef.
David met his wife Lucy in 2016 and it was love at first sight. Together for 7 years. Married on September 10, 2021. They loved being together and traveling. Lucy loved his cooking! They were good partners in everything they did.
David was born in South Bend Indiana on October 6th, 1960, and moved to Florida when he was a young man. He is preceded in death by his father James “Bud” Allen and 2 sisters: Kim (Ron Gapinski), and Tina (Paul Baucher). He is survived by his Wife Lucy, Mother Patsy (Larry Line), Daughter Samantha (Diego Collazo-Garcia), Son David James and Brother, James "Jr." Allen, Jr.
There will be a viewing and gathering of family and friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to LifePath Hospice for all of their help and care for David.
