David Bernard Dorfner, 56, of Riverview, FL, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. A native of Milwaukee, WI, he had resided in the Tampa Bay area for eighteen years. He was a member and Scout Master at Nativity Catholic Church. He loved to travel to see family in Germany and Poland, he also loved fishing and spending time with loved ones.
David was preceded in death by his father and mother, Bernhard and Kathleen Dorfner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lilianna M. Preis; son, Kenneth Dorfner; sisters, Dawn Rossi and Brittany Moeller (Nick); uncles, Karl Dorfner (Pat) and Robert Dorfner (Kathy); aunts, Sue Daniels (Dan), Anne Parker and Karen Reynolds plus many extended family members.
A funeral mass will be held for David at Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon, FL, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11 AM with family receiving friends one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Nativity Catholic Church.
