Claire S. Bryan
BRYAN, Claire Simmons., was a lifetime resident of Hillsborough County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynolds G. Bryan, and is survived by her two daughters and a son, Judith B. Darsey, and her husband, Benny; Reynolds E. (Buddy) Bryan, and his wife, Tami and Patricia C. Bryan. Granddaughters, Linda D. Hartley and Lisa D. Atkins, and her husband, Dub; grandsons, Nathan and Taylor Humphrey and 12 great-grandchildren. Claire was the second President of King High School P.T.S.A. and served for two years. She was President of Brandon Service League for 4 years, Worthy Matron of Linsley Chapter #152, Order of the Eastern Star and Second Grand Vice-President of the Grand International Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers for four years. A member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Daughters of the Nile and served as Mother Advisor to the Brandon Rainbow Assembly, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brandon, United Methodist Women; J.O.L. Circle and Friendship Sunday School Class.
Funeral Information
The family will receive friends this evening (Monday), March 9, 2015, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church of Brandon, 120 N. Knights Avenue, Brandon, with Order of the Eastern Star Services. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Brandon.
