Obituary for Charles A. (Buddy) Rogers
Charles A. (Buddy) Rogers
ROGERS, Charles A. (Buddy), 47, of Plant City, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2012, after an amazing, but very sudden, intense struggle with cancer. Buddy was born February 12, 1965 in Plant City. This child of Florida was a loving son, brother, father and nephew. He is survived by his parents, Ennis and Betty Rogers; children, Joshua, Connor and Guinevere; wife, Melissa; sisters, Judy (Gary) Brinkley, Catheryne MacPherson, Beth (Joe) Campoamor, Susanne (Frank) Frangie; brothers, Michael (JoAnne), Bruce (Cindy), Daniel and John (Judy), along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Buddy's passion was music, best listened to on a Florida beach. Buddy taught us to be compassionate, courageous and gentle with those we love and never judge others. Our loved one quietly, with great dignity and peace, joined heaven's band while listening to his favorite music, Bach, rock and gentle lullabies. He drew his last breath listening to "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" which guided him home.
