Carol Joyce Parrish, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 13, 2024, leaving a legacy of grace, hospitality, and poise for all who knew and loved her.
She was born and raised in Tampa, FL. Carol worked for TECO for over 30 years, served in the children’s ministry at Bell Shoals Baptist Church for over 20 years and lead Bible Study Fellowship for over 20 years.
Carol took special joy in her family and had fond memories of hosting cousin slumber parties, tea parties, and many holiday gatherings in her dearly loved backyard garden.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Parrish and is survived by her daughter, Penny Pendergrass (Kurt), her granddaughters, Danielle Dorey (Ryan) and Samantha Martinez (David), her great-grandchildren (Weston, Titus, Harleigh, and Gemma), her sister, Sharon Myers and many extended and chosen family. Everyone who knew her will never forget the impact she had in their lives.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 4pm at Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, FL. Following the service, we invite you to share in a time of recounting memories and enjoying refreshments in honor of Carol.
