D'OLYMPIO, Carmen Robert Bob, 71, of Valrico, FL, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017. A native of Boston, MA, he had resided in the Tampa Bay area for 15 years coming from Pompano Beach, FL. Bob and his wife moved to Florida, from Massachusetts, in 1988. Bob was a retried sales executive with experience in the trucking and yacht industries; a US Marine Corp Viet Nam War veteran. .A member of Riverside Yacht Club for over 40 years, Bob served as Rear Commodore, Vice Commodore and Commodore. He enjoyed fishing, boating and travel. Bob is survived by his wife, Linda (Szymanski) and would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on 09/30/2017; sister, Diane Grant; brothers, Tim, Dan and Billy DOlympio; sisters-in-law, Trisha Fitzgerald, Ann Marie Silvio, Marie DOlympio and JD Szymanski and brothers-in-law John Grant and Michael Szymanski.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Danversport Yacht Club, 161 Elliott Street, Danvers, MA 01923. Military honors will be at 12:30 P.M.
