THOMAS, Bryan Clifford Jr., 67, of Riverview, FL died at Brandon Hospital on July 16, 2011 of a heart attack. He was born on January 27, 1944 in Tampa, FL to parents Bryan C. Thomas Sr. and Isabel Louise Thomas. He was predeceased by his sister, Linda Lou Douglas.
He is survived by his wife, Alicia; son, Bryan C. Thomas III (Linda Thomas); daughter, Melissa Pennington (Rhett Pennington); 5 grandchildren, Ashlee Thomas, Kristin Thomas Johnson, Morgan Davis, Taylor Thomas and Bryan C. Thomas IV; 1 great-grandson, Braden Christopher Johnson. Clifford graduated from East Bay High School in 1962 and this is where he met and later married his high school sweetheart Alicia Exum. He was a star running back for the East Bay Indians football team. He owned and operated a tropical fish hatchery for over 35 years in Riverview. His hobbies were golf, riding motorcycles and bird watching. He never met a stranger and was a friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Bell Shoals Baptist Church with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
