Chaiser, Bruce V., 70, of Brandon, FL passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012. He grew up in the city of Chicago and Mt. Prospect, IL where he attended St. Benedicts and Notre Dame H.S. In 1960 he began his Career as a pressman at Chicago Roto print and Chicago Tribune. In 1973 he moved his family to Tampa where he worked at the Tampa Tribune until his retirement in 2009. He was a proud member of the Pressman's Union Local 180. He enjoyed Steam Locomotives, history, Literature, and was a talented artist. Bruce was a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Son. He was predeceased by his father, Robert L. Chaiser. He is survived by his daughters, Stacy L. Elrod (Blake), Margaret W. Clague (Bill), and Zoe' E. Chaiser; mother, Rita J. Blais; brothers, Jay L. Chaiser (Rose), Mathew D. Chaiser; sister, Marie E. Youngblood (Ed); grandchildren, Blake, Alexander, and Avery; all his nephews, nieces and their children. He was loved dearly by all and will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life Path Hospice, 12973 N. Telecom Parkway, Suite 100, Temple Terrace, Florida 33637, or to the FL Rail Road Museum, 941-776-0906. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
