Oxley, Brenda Faye, 57, of Tampa, passed away on Thursday December 3, 2009. Brenda graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1970 and from the University of South Florida in 1975 with a degree in Sociology. After graduating, Brenda began working at SmithKline Laboratories, a/k/a Quest Diagnostics, and remained there for over 30 years as an HR Director. Brenda formed many friendships with her co-workers and truly loved her job. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy K. and Wally Watson; nephews, Spencer and Max Watson all of Riverview and her cousins, Barbara Newberger of Lutz, and Mark Hutson of Brandon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Amos Harbin and Alma Weeks Harbin. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview. After the services, friends and family are invited to the home of her sister, Nancy Watson, in Riverview.
