Betty Lewis Jones
JONES, Betty Lewis, 82, of Riverview, made her transition home to God on Sunday, February 27, 2011. A native of Tampa, she was a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church and a member of the Craft Group and the Manager of the Preschool at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Samuel Lewis and brother, Eugene Lewis and is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Johnny Jones; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy Jones Miltner and Joel and Cheryl Jones-Boring and Doug; sisters, Alice Duncan and Faye Taber and brother, G.W. "Bill" (Becky) Lewis. She is the cherished Mee Mee of grandchildren, Robert Miltner, Kyle (Jennifer) Belz, Andrew Miltner, Curtis Belz, Staci (Steven) Miltner Bedenbaugh and Emily Belz, as well as great-granddaughters, Bricelyn, Brielee, Bristol and Maggie.
Funeral Information
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Oak Grove Cemetery, 3000 blk. of W. Sitka St., Tampa. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at the Riverview United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow.
