Betty Ann Cox, 91, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. A native of Jonesboro, TN, she had resided here most of her lifetime. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Order of the Eastern Star. Red Hat Society, Past Potentate Ladies and Ladies without Nobles. She is survived by her son, Milburn D. Cox, Jr.; daughter. Terry Curry; sisters, Jewell Susong and Frances Buckingham; grandchildren, Colton, Mary Beth, Chiffon and Carl and great-grandchildren, Trey, Lilly, Vincent, Dax, Gwendolyn and Rowan. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Egypt Shrine, 5017 E. Washington Street, Tampa, at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, February 18, 2024. Interment will be private at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Trey Curry Foundation.
