Beatrice Olive Pierce , née King, 83 , crossed over into her Savior’s arms on September 30, 2022. She no longer deals with the daily pain that she has struggled with. God took her home for a complete healing. We praise God for his mercy.
Cancer, Christ gave her salvation and power over you.
Bea was born in Waverly, NY on February 16, 1939 to Webster M. and Mary E. King.
Bea married Curtis Pierce on 11/27/1970 and they were married just shy of 52 years. They met when both were working at IBM , Owego, NY. Bea was always a hard worker and managed her job as a technician in keypunch, as well as mother to her two daughters and being a wonderful wife to Curt. She loved her daughters dearly. Curt and Bea dedicated themselves to each other and their marriage grew stronger with every situation they worked through.
They transferred to Florida with IBM and moved to Valrico. They made their home there and raised Stacey there. They also found their spiritual home in Florida at the the First Baptist Church of Brandon. It has been a place where they were welcomed and became active in and became children of God. Their love grew in every experience they shared. Only when Bea’s mobility became more restricted did their attendance at church wain. They then ‘attended’ church through TV.
Bea was predeceased by her parents, also sisters-in-law and their spouses, Phyllis (Lyle) Sherwood, Geraldine (Donald) Hunsinger, Beverly (Eugene) Allis. Also her brother-in-law, Rush Pierce, Jr.
Bea will be greatly missed by everyone, especially Curt. One day they will share eternity together.
Bea is survived by her husband, Curtis Pierce and two daughters Sharon Gallo, MN and Stacey and Kevin Burns, AL. and their children Kailyn and Zachary; also her stepson Alan Pierce and his daughters Lindsay and Molly.
Also surviving are her brother Gerald (LaRea) King, and sisters Ellen Hudson, and Laura Harder and husband Tom Matthews.
