Barry Whitfield Stinson passed away to his heavenly home on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born on April 18, 1964, in Sarasota, FL. Barry attended Pine View/Sarasota High School, Class of 1982, then graduated from Tulane University. Barry is survived by Pamela, his best friend and wife of 34 years. He was most proud of his children, Samantha and John. Other survivors include his brother, Mark (Cheryl) Stinson; brothers-in-law, David (Deborah) and Carl Shenning; nephews, nieces and cousins. Barry's career took his family to Tampa, Atlanta, Orlando and the Grand Cayman. Barry spent his career in the insurance industry and was most recently employed as Claims Officer at Greenlight Re, based in the Cayman Islands. A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Palmetto, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
