Barbara Jean Laidlaw
LAIDLAW, Barbara Jean, 82, of Riverview, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 12, 2013. Born February 27, 1931 in Berkley Michigan, to L. Gordon and Mary Weber Snyder, Barbara went to elementary and high school in Ontario, Canada, had nurses training at Hamilton General Hospital and attended London Bible Institute, London, Ontario, Canada. She married Ross Laidlaw on May 29, 1954, joining him in his pastoral ministry, moving to the United States in 1956 and then become a U.S. citizen. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Douglas Laidlaw and is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ross Laidlaw; son, Judson Frank (Lori) Laidlaw; daughter, Linda Beth (Steve) Jones; sisters, Marilyn Turney and Ginny Glover; sister-in-law, Margaret Laidlaw and five grandchildren, Megan Jones Wall, Eric Steven Jones, Caleb Ross Laidlaw, Katherine Margaret Laidlaw and Joshua Douglas Laidlaw.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church, 702 Del Webb Blvd. West, Sun City Center, FL 33573, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
