Barbara Jean (Jacobs) Gregg, a daughter of the late J.B. and Cora Lee Jacobs, was born May 5, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas and departed this life on March 5, 2023, at home in Riverview, Florida after an illness. She received her education in the public schools of Darlington County. Her long-life profession was a Home Health Provider for numerous patients in the Pee Dee area. She touched many lives in her years of health care. Barbara was a long-time member of Christ Temple Holiness Church. Barbara was united in marriage on November 30, 1973, to David Gregg. She leaves to cherish her memory: her son David Savalis Gregg Jr. (Troy) of Georgia, one sister, Cora Lorraine (Rod) Hammonds, one brother, Alvin Jacobs of Georgia. Nieces, Shantel Davis, Briana Hammonds, Kitana Hammonds (Kyla Wilson) All of Florida, Renee Baynes, Brittany Jacobs. Nephew, Antwon Jacobs of Virginia. Five Aunts, Lorestine Deas of Maryland, Rosa Gross of Maryland, Geneva Robinson of Darlington, Gloria Pickles of Florida. Special friends, Lily Mae Simmons, Barbara Ann Franklin, JoAnn Knox, Dorothy Joyner, Mildred Jacobs all of Darlington. Several cousins, relatives, and friends. A Home Going service will be held at Southern Funeral Care on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11 AM with family receiving friends one hour prior to services. A graveside service will follow at Limona Cemetery.
