Barbara J. McCarthy 80, of Brandon, FL, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Zach McCarthy and is survived by her husband, Bill McCarthy; sons, Doug McCarthy (Jean) and Greg McCarthy; brother, Jim Smeenge and grandchildren, Ben and Grace. A Celebration of Life will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 12, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church,175 Lake Hollingsworth Dr, Lakeland, FL 33801. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hand Bells Group at First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland or to the Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine.
