Born January 4, 1935 in Normal, IL. Barbara met the love of her life as a teenager and married him July 17, 1954, celebrating 60 years last summer. Barbara loved spending time with her family at their monthly Korte Family Fun Night that continues today, decorating for holidays, evening walks, traveling, playing cards, gardening, playing the piano, and according to her husband, just piddling around.
