Anthony Kenneth Cannella, known to many as Tony and to some as Buddy, passed away at the age of 73 in Tallahassee, Florida. He lived most of his life in Brandon, Florida.
Tony dedicated his professional life to education, serving as a teacher at Eisenhower Middle School, where he taught American history, a subject he deeply loved. Tony’s passion for history was evident to his students, and he took great pride in sharing that knowledge with generations of young people.
Tony was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan. He is survived by his brothers, Sam and James, as well as his many nieces and nephews, who will remember him fondly.
He will be remembered for his love of golf and for the comfort and companionship he found spending time with his cats. Tony’s family is comforted in knowing that he loved the Lord and is at home in heaven.
Tony’s life touched many, and he will be remembered with affection by all who knew him. He will be laid to rest at Limona Cemetery following services at Limona Village Chapel UMC, where he was a member.
