Due to religious, environmental or personal reasons, more and more people are choosing cremation over traditional burial. Cremation can be an affordable alternative to the typical burial service.

What exactly is cremation?

Cremation is a clean and ecologically safe process that reduces a body to its basic elements by direct fire. Once the cremation is completed, the cremains, cremated remains or "ashes," are placed in a temporary container provided by the crematory or an urn purchased by the family. Throughout the entire process, the crematory uses a carefully controlled labeling system to ensure accurate identification of the cremains.

There is a variety of service options when a family chooses cremation.
Some of the most common cremation services families will choose include:

• Funeral service prior to cremation.
• Memorial service.
• Memorial service after cremation, followed by inurnment in a mausoleum, crypt or columbarium.
• Immediate cremation.

We offer affordable cremation service packages that include everything you need for a cremation service. Choose from one of the following convenient cremation service packages.

These charges are effective January 1, 2012, but are subject to change without notice. A copy of our General Price List will be provided upon request. Below charges do not include any other services, merchandise and/or cash advance items than those specifically mentioned.

Traditional Cremation Church Service With Visitation: $3,465.00
This package includes, and is limited to:

• Basic services of funeral director and staff.
• Embalming.
• Cosmetizing.
• Dressing and/or casketing.
• Staff and/or equipment for visitation (one hour prior to service) and church service.
• Transfer of remains to funeral home.
• Hearse.
• Service vehicle.
• Cremation fee.

Traditional Cremation Chapel Service: $3,190.00
This package includes, and is limited to:

• Basic services of funeral director and staff.
• Embalming.
• Cosmetizing.
• Dressing and/or casketing.
• Facilities and staff for visitation (one hour prior to service) and funeral service.
• Transfer of remains to funeral home.
• Service vehicle.
• Cremation fee.

Cremation Oriented Caskets $ 775.00 to $6,015.00
Rental Casket $ 995.00
Alternative Containers $ 75.00 to $ 395.00

Cremation with a Memorial Service: $1,995.00
This package includes and is limited to:

• Basic services of funeral director and staff.
• Refrigeration.
• Facilities and/or staff for memorial service.
• Transfer of remains to funeral home.
• Service vehicle.
• Cremation fee.

Direct Cremation: $995.00
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without outside covering). The containers we provide are: medium density fiberboard, pressboard and various soft and hard woods. Cremations are scheduled with the crematory on a first come, first serve basis. Any family requesting an expedite of paperwork beyond normal delivery methods or an expedite of the cremation process will be charged an additional $ 100.00.

Our charges for direct cremation (without ceremony) include, and are limited to:

• Minimum services of funeral director and staff.
• Refrigeration.
• Transfer of remains to funeral home.
• Service vehicle.
• Cremation fee.

Due to previous experiences, when selecting this type of service, the funeral home does not provide any assistance in arranging or making arrangements for any type of service(s) the family may be arranging on their own. If so, there will be additional charges added.

• Direct Cremation with container provided by the purchaser. All such containers must meet any applicable state or crematory requirements. $995.00
• Direct cremation with minimum cardboard alternative container from the funeral home. $995.00
• Direct cremation with casket purchased from our funeral home. In addition to cost of casket. $995.00
