Obituary for Jeanie Rima Willis
Jeanie Rima Willis, 82 of Riverview, Florida, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 28, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Delmer Willis. She is also survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws; Steve and Teresa Willis and Randy and Kim Willis; grandchildren, Terra Erlichman, Christina Willis, Ryan Willis, Catherine McGetrick, Joshua Willis, and Kristen Herman; great-grandchildren, Austin Willis, Hailey Erlichman, Ryan Willis, Jr., Trinity Willis, Olivia McGetrick, Lorelei Willis, and Abigail McGetrick; siblings, Sandy McMillan, Patty Graves and Don Rima. Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Alta Rima and her son, Terry Willis. Jeanie was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa on July 21, 1936 and moved to Riverview, Florida in 1954 where she resided until her death. She was a graduate of Brandon High School, class of 1955. Jeanie spent her life as a loving mom and homemaker. She was a Sunday School teacher and choir member for 35 years. When her boys were growing up, she was a den mother and active with Boy Scout Troop 82 which resulted in two of the boys (Steve and Terry) attaining Eagle Scout. Her youngest son, Randy, joined the Navy upon graduation and she became the proud mom of a son serving his country. Jeanie was a member of First Baptist Church of East Bay. Services to be held, Saturday, September 8, 2018, 10:00 am at First Baptist Church of East Bay, 10102 Old Big Bend Road, Riverview, Florida.
