Obituary for Hazel Douglas Burriss
Burriss, Hazel Douglas, 68, of Riverview, FL passed away on February 27, 2018, and was born August 17, 1949. Hazel never met a stranger. He loved going up to Ruth’s sipping on coffee and chatting with his friends. He couldn’t go anywhere without running into someone he knew. He had so many friends that he called family. He also loved being involved in his children and grandchildren's lives from day to day activities to sports to school it didn’t matter he was always there in person or on the phone. He is survived by his Daughter, Stephanie Mason (Larry Dale Mason) and Son, Matthew Burriss (Melinda Burriss); four grandchildren, Mattison Burriss, Mason Burriss, Mary-Paige Mason and Draik Mason. We love you now and forever. Services will be conducted 12 pm on March 10, 2018 with the family receiving friends one hour prior at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview, FL 33578.
