Zachary Douglas McCarthy

McCARTHY, Zachary Douglas, 16, of Valrico, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. A native of Winter Haven, FL, he was a life-long resident of the area. He was a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Riverview and a student at Bloomingdale High School where he was active in the Band, Chorus and Ambassadors. He is survived by his parents, Doug and Jean McCarthy; brother, Benjamin and sister, Grace, all of Valrico; paternal grandparents, Bill and Barbara McCarthy and paternal great-grandfather, Jim Smeenge, all of Lakeland, FL and maternal grandparents, Gil and Patti Tybring, Mulberry, FL.

Funeral Information

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6:00 P.M. Sunday, January 6, 2013, at the chapel of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, 2102 Bell Shoals Rd., Brandon.
